CFK Education Solutions

CFK Education Solutions is a subsidiary of Crane Financial, LLC. We provide K-12 educational solutions as well Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) consulting to K-12 school districts, universities, and for-profit and nonprofit organizations. Our primary consultants, Dr. Felicia Fullilove and Jaqueline Tucker, Esq., deliver impactful workshops with care, expertise and full appreciation of the challenges encountered and support needed when doing organizational change.

Our DEI consulting functions under the three primary tenets of: Acknowledge, Reflect, and Act. These tenets work towards understanding and eliminating institutional and structural racism. Collectively, this work is critical in advancing racial equity and closing the racial wealth gap.

Acknowledge: The first step towards eliminating institutional and structural racism is to acknowledge its existence. Institutional and structural racism are pervasive in America. Every organization has been complicit in upholding racism through its policies and practices. The road to anti-racism begins with acknowledgement.

Reflect: A critical step in advancing racial equity is to reflect how we’ve all contributed to upholding institutional and structural racism. Reflection can be difficult and uncomfortable, but is critical in understanding our roles in the larger system.

Act: Acknowledgement and Reflection are incomplete without actionable and measurable steps to eliminate institutional and structural racism and advance racial equity.

Throughout our process we assess the progression of the organization towards understanding concepts related to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Collectively, our approaches work towards building the capacity of organizations and institutions to eliminate institutional and structural racism and advance racial equity with the goal of closing the racial wealth gap.

We had the honor of co-sponsoring a community event hosted by The E’Twaun Moore Foundation. This event was held in East Chicago, IN at the Shrine Center. Being offered was a free Thanksgiving dinner for the community, open to all. Dozens of families were served and we hope to continue sponsoring, and hosting, such events in the future.

Crane Financial Holiday Drive

Since 2018, Crane Financial has raised money to provide gifts for Northwest Indiana families in need. We’ve asked our communities to join us in bringing the holiday spirit to the less fortunate, and have successfully completed that mission over the last 3 years. Thank you to everyone that’s participated in the Crane Financial Holiday Drive.
